Hello! I am a PhD candidate in London, England. I was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, as one of eleven children. I first heard about Pedro in Vancouver, Canada, when someone read about his funeral on the Opus Dei website, but when I moved to London I started having devotion to him, seeing that he had had a huge impact on people’s lives.
My friend is expecting a baby; and when they went for a 20-week scan, it was found that the baby had fluid around the heart. She and her husband were told that the baby boy would likely be stillborn. At 24 weeks, the ultrasound showed that the baby was measuring 30 weeks due to all the fluid. I was praying to Pedro non-stop since I heard the news and told my friend that I was asking him for help.
In the last ultrasound, it was found that the baby is fine. There is no cystic hygroma, no fluid around the heart, his genetic screen is clear, and his heart is healthy (as checked by an echocardiogram). It is a great relief and I am so thankful to Pedro for his intercession.
