Good evening. I am the mother of three children.
The youngest pulled out of high school after a series of misunderstandings with his teachers, which led him to become demoralised and not believe in his scholastic abilities. He felt inadequate and therefore wanted to discontinue his studies.
My husband and I didn't want him to interrupt his studies because we have faith in his abilities: he is a smart boy, capable of great sacrifices to achieve a goal. But nothing would change his mind.
One summer afternoon I went to the Church of St Josemaría in EUR (Rome) that I attend. I saw, leaning against the inside wall, the little picture of Pedro Ballester that intrigued me because of his young age. I began to pray every day for him to help me intercede so that my son would change his mind and return regularly to high school in September.
I prayed all summer, entrusting this intention to Pedro. The joy was great when my son changed his mind when the school reopened and went back to school, finding a better situation than before, with a serene environment and more understanding teachers.
I give thanks for this favour received, I continue to pray to Pedro entrusting this son of mine in the hope that he will receive the vocation.
